Project manager chaos revealed – and how to overcome it
Managing projects has never been this tough with tighter resources, longer hours and staying accessible 24/7. And today, most of us are in fact project managers. Our job title might not say so but the majority of us manage projects – whether it’s by leading a production team or putting together an ad campaign.
Knowing that the right technology and processes help we’ve formulated a ‘chaos theory’: as the rapid evolution of technology continues, and as people’s working habits change, there is a need to rethink how they take ideas from inception to completion – in other words, how they manage projects.
To better understand what contribute to this chaos, its impact on productivity and business success, we commissioned an independent study looking at the views and attitudes of over 1,200 project managers from six European countries.
