Introducing Planview PPM Pro!

It's been an exciting 18 months since Innotas came together with Planview to form the market-leading PPM team. We have moved quickly to bring the company, the culture, and the customer experience together while continuing to invest in the product. I have been consistently amazed by the level of engagement in this community, including participation in our Inner Circle program, reception of a beautiful new theme, and attendance for a dedicated track at our annual Horizons customer conference. Thank you for your continued partnership.

Now it is my distinct pleasure to announce the capstone to this phase of our journey - on February 16, Planview is announcing a new brand identity for Planview Innotas.
Planview® PPM Pro plays a foundational role in our Work and Resource Management (WRM) strategy going forward, and this rebranding is a part of that vision. Our WRM approach is about serving novice to blackbelt project and PMO professionals. Planview PPM Pro is vital to our mission - supporting project professionals advance as "PPM Pros". To share my thoughts on that, I've recorded a short video that you can review at your convenience here.
We are fired up. This branding event is a signal to the world, and to each of you, that we believe in mid-tier PPM, we are steadfastly committed to continuing to lead in this space, and we are doubling down on the investment we made a year and a half ago by driving innovation into PPM Pro over the next six months:
  • With spreadsheet interaction coming, and tight alignment of product configuration with the Planview FastTrack® implementation process, you can expect the best time-to-value for every onboarding exercise in your organization.
  • The addition of an open data protocol feed unlocks unfettered access to your data to expand reporting capabilities, regardless of business intelligence tool of choice, including Microsoft Excel, Tableau or others - all at no additional cost.
  • Plus mode (Team Member Plus) elevates the value of PPM with visibility and the robust governance of a best-in-class PPM timesheet, while enabling your team members with a collaborative work management solution that provides a place to plan work, execute tasks with Kanban boards, and collaborate.
What you should know:
  • A minor branding change within the browser interface from the former Planview Innotas logo to the new Planview PPM Pro logo will go into sandboxes today, and into production on February 16th.
  • You and your team will continue to log into the Planview PPM Pro product with your current URL and credentials.
  • All of your bookmarks, dashboards, etc. will continue to function as expected.
  • Content previously on will now be centralized onto the parent website where we will continue to expand resources and share thought leadership.
  • It is on the roadmap to move the product itself from to another URL. We are planning a minimum six-month transition period to ensure that the migration process is as seamless as possible.
Again, thank you for your trust in our shared future - I hope you are as excited as I am about the many enhancements and announcements to come. As always, please reach out to your Planview PPM Pro product management team with any feedback or concerns - Jennifer Rose, Sherrill Packebush, Shlok Vaidya, Jason Morio, and Louise Allen.
